For inexperienced bunch, Photoshop is like a labyrinth, which is really not a bad thing. Today I will show you step by step how to change the text, color and icons in the downloaded Photoshop file.
Step 1: Download the test version of Photoshop
If you do not have Photoshop yet you should download the trial version, which is available for 30 days free of charge. This can be found on the official Adobe site at http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html
Step 2: Start Photoshop and open file
After Photoshop is now running, the downloaded PSD file must now be opened. On the right is the “Layers” field, where folders are in different colors. This arrangement may vary depending on the graph. The colors of the folders are as follows:
Blue (color) = doesn’t have to be changed green (text) = must be changed
yellow (icons) = can be changed
red (design) = shouldn’t be changed
The respective folder it can be opened by clicking on the arrow in front of and the visibility of the folder / level can be adjusted by clicking on the eye in front.
Step 3: Color change
To change the color of the graphic, open the blue folder. Then further layers appear whose name indicates the respective colors. Clicking on the eye in front of the respective layer activates the color. Note that you have activated a maximum of one color, otherwise the hue will change.
Step 4: Modify icons and text
To change the icons, do the same as for the color change. The folder for this must be opened and the respective layers activated or deactivated through the eye.
To edit the text, select the folder, and then select the text tool from the toolbar on the left side. This can be seen in a large “T”. Now click on the respective lettering, while the text tool is selected and the text can be edited. Note that the correct font, at the top left, is selected. In our download you will find the font, which we have used in the “Font” folder. It is immediately available by simply opening it and then clicking on the “Install” button.
